RSS strength & conditioning coaches have combined decades of experience in working with athletes at all levels, from youth to professional. Our sports performance training programs are all encompassing, tailored programming designed to fit our athletes goals and needs. The key to athlete development is to create a solid foundation upon which the attributes of athleticism can be developed. This process includes instruction on mobility training as well as activation and warm up of the body prior to training.
Speed, Agility, Plyometrics and Athleticism
We use both time-tested and evidence based methodology for development of speed, agility, jump ability and athleticism at RSS. The three main areas of speed development are acceleration, absolute speed and mulit-directional speed.
Athletes are taught foundational mechanics & skill in these 3 areas.
Strength & Power Development
An important component to increasing speed is increasing strength or more specifically, relative strength. As strength increases, athletes have a better ability to apply force into the ground and therefore become faster.
